How can my business benefit from chocolate team events?

I am a great believer that food brings people together. My Chocolate Workshops are a fun and messy way to build and strengthen bonds between colleagues and business associates. If you're looking for something a bit different for your corporate event or function, there are a variety of options that can be individually tailored to suit your requirements.

Whether your company is large or small, a chocolate workshop can be the perfect team building or social activity within your own office space. Talks & Tasting events are popular for Networking events.

Schools and Clubs

I just LOVE visiting schools & teaching children an insight into chocolate like they may never have seen before, which give them lasting memories.

My School Chocolate Workshops  are the perfect activity for schools and clubs, including Brownies, Guides, Scouts & Cubs are enthusiastically received by children and teachers alike .

Having worked with a wide range of organisations and societies, I am able to tailor an event to suit your specific needs and requirements.

I travel to your Venue or school classroom, taking away the hassel and added expense of coach transport and additional teacher/parent support. I can fit in with your daily timetable to avoid disruption to the pupils day.

What will children learn?

Using chocolate is a great educational tool and a brilliant way to inform children about its rich history, the compelling journey from 'bean to bar' and the significance of cocoa content. These concepts will be explored using real cocoa products. Classroom specific activities such as piping  chocolate Lollipops , can also be incorporated into the sessions.

The content within the sessions can be linked to the National Curriculum for KS2, KS3 and KS4 based around the following topics:

  • History and origins of chocolate
  • How and where cacao is grown
  • The story of  chocolate from Tree to bar and its production
  • Fair trade principles and practices

I offer inset days consisting of mini workshops that cover the history of chocolate, the bear to bar story, chocolate tasting, as well as making some delicious chocolates to take away.
